Return & Refund Policy

At FunkySouq, we aim to provide our customers with a smooth and worry-free shopping experience. While we stand by the quality of our products and trusted vendors, we understand that sometimes a purchase may not work out. This policy explains the conditions, timelines, and procedures for returns, exchanges, and refunds.

Return Eligibility

  • Customers may request a return within 7 calendar days of receiving their order.
  • Only unused, unworn, and unwashed items are eligible.
  • Products must be returned in their original packaging, with all tags, labels, accessories, manuals, and authenticity documents (if any).
  • Returns are not accepted for the following categories, in line with UAE hygiene and consumer safety standards:
    • Lingerie and innerwear
    • Swimwear
    • Cosmetics & beauty products (if seal is broken)
    • Clearance / final sale items
    • Customized or personalized items

Return Process

  1. Log in to your FunkySouq account.
  2. Go to My Orders → Request Return/Exchange.
  3. Select the item(s) and reason for return.
  4. Schedule a pickup with our logistics partner (or drop-off at a designated center, if available).
  5. Our team will perform an initial verification at pickup.

Quality Check

  • Once the product reaches FunkySouq's fulfillment center, a mandatory quality check is performed.
  • Refunds or exchanges will be approved only if the product passes inspection (unused, intact, in original packaging).
  • Items failing the check will be returned to the customer at their own shipping cost.

Refund Timelines

  • Once approved, refunds are processed within 7 working days of receiving and verifying the returned item.
  • Refund method:
    • Card Payments → Refunded to the same card.
    • Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders → Refunded to FunkySouq Wallet or via Bank Transfer (customer to provide signed bank details).
  • Refunds may take additional time depending on the bank's processing cycle. FunkySouq is not responsible for delays caused by external banking networks.

Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items

  • If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, report it within 48 hours of delivery through our customer support.
  • Such cases will be prioritized, and full refunds or replacements will be issued at no extra cost.
  • FunkySouq will bear all reverse shipping and replacement costs in these cases.

Non-Compliance & Abuse

  • Any attempt to return used, worn, tampered, or counterfeit items will lead to rejection of refund.
  • FunkySouq reserves the right to blacklist customers who repeatedly misuse the return/refund system.

Responsibility & Shipping

  • For approved returns, FunkySouq's logistics partners will arrange pickup.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring the product is securely packed to avoid damage during return transit.

Refund Exceptions

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Returns requested beyond the 7-day window.
  • Products returned without original packaging/tags.
  • Hygiene-restricted items (lingerie, swimwear, cosmetics, etc.).
  • Customized, made-to-order, or clearance items.

Legal & Compliance

  • This Refund & Return Policy is in full compliance with:
    • UAE Federal Law No. 24 of 2006 (Consumer Protection Law)
    • UAE Commercial Transactions Law
    • FunkySouq's Vendor Agreements & Platform Guidelines
  • Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Dubai Courts, UAE.
